  1. Micro Maze game now with JOYstick - MMJOY

  3. This version works on Portfolio only!!!

  5. The MMJOY is another version of the MAZE game.
  6. It was written by Jan Sedlak. The maze of the
  7. MicroMaze was designed by my 13 year old sister.

  10. About the game
  11.  
  12. After the intro and help screens  you will find yourself in a maze,
  13. and you are to get out of this maze. If you bump into the wall it
  14. will become visible. But you bump into a scorpion (smaller) or
  15. a Z-scorpion (Zombie scorpion - bigger) you will loose 
  16. 1 or 2 lives respectively. You have total of 12 lives and your
  17. "candle" can been seen by pressing "space".

  19. The maze is ?? x ?? squares large (I won't tell you, :-)  ). 
  20. You can move around by pressing the cursor keys or  the Q,A,O,P keys.
  21. Pressing [space] will display your remaining life.
  22. [S] toggles sound on/off.  [X] is used to redraw the screen
  23. after returning from built-in applications.

  25. The exiting place is marked by a filled diagonal square. To help you
  26. a bit in getting around, the exiting place is ..... somewhere.

  28. The game takes 11,5 KB on disk. It was compressed and requires 48KB
  29. of free system RAM. If you have free RAM of 64 KB and more, you
  30. can use the built-in applications. This means you do not have
  31. to quit the game if you need your texts, worksheets, addresses.
  32. After exiting from the built-in application press X to refresh
  33. the screen.

  40. with Portfolio.

  46. You can use only the Atari ST / Amiga joystick. The type
  47. I use is the QuickShot  QS-200 which is a nice (+small)
  48. game pad.

  50. PC joysticks or the very first types of 8bit joysticks (e.g.
  51. Sinclair Spectrum) will not work. Both have completely
  52. different design.

  57. The game is a shareware. You can copy it, give to your friends,
  58. it can be sold on PD diskettes and loaded onto BBS.

  60. There is another version of the MAZE game - with a huge
  61. maze to get thru. You can get it too. Just let me know.
